Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, a leading prestigious school with state-of-the-art facilities where nearly 100% of students go on to university or find employment. The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Koudo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment.

The protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is a student of Class D, which is where the school dumps its “inferior” students in order to ridicule them. For a certain reason, Kiyotaka was careless on his entrance examination and was put in Class D. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyou Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka’s situation begins to change.

  1. Thank you once again for translating vol 11! I was absolutely enthralled by the confrontation between ayanokouji and sakayanagi. I was madly in love with how well the whole scenario was written and translated, so i greatly appreciate ur efforts here.
I’d like to request something of u, if u could please grant us an epub file for vol 11 too! xD
    Arigato once again!

  2. Hi Graze, thanks a lot for all the effort you put into translating. I appreciate the brain-splitting hard work.
I had a question though if you don’t mind. Do you know of any reliable way of extracting Japanese text from image files? I would be extremely grateful if you can help me out.

    • Honestly no. Nothing is consistent. Even the best stuff out there messes up the easiest most simple Japanese. I’ve tried everything but nothing seems to be faster or more consistent than just taking a minute and transcribing the Japanese on my own.

      • I see. Well, that sucks.
I had had also reached the same conclusion after trying multiple things myself, but I still always wondered how people machine translating different novels get their text. I mean, I can’t imagine them painstakingly transcribing the text of the novel (all of it, of course) and them putting it into, say, Google Translate. For some reason, it goes against the whole sort-of vague notion in my head that machine translating is the quick and lazy approach. I mean, if you are going to “manually” extract each individual kanji one-by-one from the whole book, then you might as well just learn the language. There has to be some way.

But thanks for the reply, though. And for the whole translation work as well! Stay blessed!

  3. Woooooohh!!

Thanks Graze-sama. I honestly have been waiting for the full volume 11 and 11.5 and I’ve been watching this discord ever since then. Just checked it today and boom! Everything was done. Thanks again.

  5. Just to say my thanks to the translators (in particularly Grace) for your hard work. I mean without you, We couldnt even read a single chapter, even in my mother tongue there are none available on the net. So again, thank you guyz, hope you the best in your life, you all deserve it.

  6. By the Way, FUCK all of you peolple complaining about the time they passed on a chapter and some other bullshit ! Like that’s not a fan translation in the first place…

      • He’s doing his goddamn best. Sometimes things happen and you don’t have the time for stuff like translating. Don’t forget that he’s not getting paid (I think so at least) for doing this and is translating purely because people appreciate the work he puts into this. So please stop saying crap like that.

      • You’re right! I am indeed unpaid. Stuff does come up too. It’s fine though. the guy is just excited for more. Thanks for defending me though, I do appreciate it.

    • I’ve looked at his translations and I believe he’s using machine translation to do them. He messes up the subject of sentences too frequently for me to believe that he’s translating with actual, real Japanese knowledge in hand.
